AI Usage Disclaimer
What GrantTeam's AI features do, what they do not do, and your responsibilities.
Version 0.1 · last updated 2026-08-06
Draft. These documents describe how the platform actually works, but they have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and some details - the legal entity, address, jurisdiction and contact address - are still placeholders. They will be finalised before GrantTeam accepts payments.
1. What the AI features do
GrantTeam uses AI to support a guided process, not to write a project for you at the press of a button. Where available, AI helps you:
- extract rules and requirements from official call documents you provide;
- assess how well your organisation fits a call across separate dimensions;
- propose project directions for you to choose between;
- draft answers section by section, within the official character limits;
- run a strict evaluation pass that flags weaknesses, inconsistencies and missing evidence.
2. What they are not
- Not professional advice. AI output is not legal, financial, tax or accreditation advice.
- Not a prediction of success. We do not promise a score, an evaluator outcome, eligibility approval or funding, and we do not present a percentage chance of being funded.
- Not a substitute for the official documents. The call documentation and the programme authority always take precedence over anything the platform tells you.
- Not an automated submission service. The platform does not submit applications on your behalf.
3. Accuracy and your responsibility
AI can be confidently wrong. It can misread a document, miss a requirement, or produce text that reads well but overstates what your organisation can deliver.
Before you rely on anything the platform generates, check it against the official call documents and your own knowledge of your organisation. Where the source is not clear enough to answer a question, the platform is designed to say so rather than guess — but you should still verify.
4. Your decisions stay yours
The workflow asks you to approve key decisions — the call, the go or no-go, the project direction, the consortium, the final project logic and each section. Once you approve something, the system treats it as the source of truth and will not rewrite it silently. Suggested changes are shown to you as a difference for you to accept or reject.
Text you write or edit yourself is marked as yours and is not overwritten by a later AI run without your confirmation.
5. Your data and AI
Your project content, uploaded documents and private organisation data are processed to serve you. By default they are not added to a shared knowledge base and are not used to improve results for other customers. Retrieval is limited to your own account, organisation and project.
An expert reviewer can see a project only after you assign them to it.
6. Rules and versions
The programme rules, prompts and evaluation criteria behind these features are versioned and reviewed by a person before being published. A draft rule does not affect your live projects.
