Terms of Use

The agreement between you and GrantTeam for using the platform.

Version 0.1 · last updated 2026-08-06

Draft. These documents describe how the platform actually works, but they have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and some details - the legal entity, address, jurisdiction and contact address - are still placeholders. They will be finalised before GrantTeam accepts payments.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

GrantTeam is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. These terms govern your use of the GrantTeam platform, including the Partners directory, partner requests, project workspaces, Academy and Expert Help.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you are accepting them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Accounts and eligibility

GrantTeam is a business-to-business platform intended for organisations that apply for EU and regional grant programmes. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration details.

  • One person, one account. Do not share login credentials.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • An account currently belongs to a single organisation. Multi-organisation access is planned for professional plans.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your organisation profile and content

You keep ownership of everything you upload: your organisation profile, references, partner requests, applications, messages, project content and documents.

You grant us the limited licence we need to host, store, display and process that content in order to run the service for you — for example showing your published profile in the directory, or passing approved project data into a document you asked us to generate. We do not sell your content and we do not use your private project data to improve results for other users by default.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, and for having the right to publish it. Do not upload personal data about other people unless you have a lawful basis to do so.

4. Partner requests, applications and consortiums

GrantTeam helps you find and evaluate potential partners. We are not a party to any partnership, consortium agreement, grant application or contract you enter into with another organisation.

  • We do not guarantee that you will find a partner, receive applications, or be selected as a partner.
  • We do not guarantee the conduct, capability, solvency or reliability of any organisation on the platform.
  • Verification badges reflect checks described in our Verification Policy — they are not an endorsement or a warranty.
  • Due diligence on any partner before signing anything remains your responsibility.

5. Acceptable use

You must use GrantTeam lawfully and in good faith. Bulk extraction of the organisation directory, generic mass applications, impersonation and circumventing access controls are prohibited. Our Moderation and Acceptable Use policy sets out the details and the consequences.

6. Paid plans and services

Paid plans (Project Pass, Pro, Grant Office), add-ons, Academy programmes and Expert Help services are described with their price and scope at the point of purchase. Prices shown at checkout are binding for that purchase.

  • Project Pass applies to one project workspace for a limited period.
  • Pro and Grant Office are annual subscriptions that renew unless cancelled.
  • Human services (reviews, consultations, mentoring, writing, partner search) always have a defined scope, input requirements and revision limit. They are never unlimited.
  • Partner profiles you have unlocked stay available to your account after a Project Pass expires.

Cancellation and refund rules are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. AI-assisted features

Parts of the platform use AI to draft text, assess fit against a call, and give evaluation feedback. These outputs are drafts for you to review, not professional advice, and we make no promise about scores, evaluator outcomes or funding. See our AI Usage Disclaimer.

8. Our intellectual property

The platform itself — software, design, methodology, evaluation rubrics, programme rules and curated content — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it to run your own projects. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing dataset from it.

9. Availability, changes and suspension

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, add or remove features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect a paid plan.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, poses a security or legal risk, or repeatedly harms other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost funding, rejected applications, missed deadlines, the acts of other organisations, or indirect and consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You remain responsible for meeting the official requirements and deadlines of any call you apply to.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION]. Questions about them go to [CONTACT EMAIL].
